Breaker Boys win Silver at U14 Club nationals

The Breaker boys won the SILVER medal at the U14 Club Nationals in Canberra at Easter. The team went down 4-9 in the final to a strong Cronulla team.

The boys have had tremendous tournament winning all games until the gold medal game today. The team had a great game in the semi-final beating the defending champions by 1 goal in the semi final. The team had some close games throughout the tournament, beating top teams from all over Australia. Standouts for the team were: Both Marsden boys - Keenan and Mitchell Marsden, Rowan Herklots and Austin Gosney.

The girls team finished a creditable 9th out of 21 teams from across Australia. The girls team beat Sydney Northern Beaches by 1 goal for 9th place. The two top goal scorers for the team were: Ashleigh Roberts with a total of 17 goals and Bridget Leeson-Smith with 14 goals.
