2011 NWPL Final series results

Both men's and women's teams finish 6th in the finals.
The gold medal was won by Brisbane Barracudas (Women) in a penalty shootout against Cronulla Sharks and Fremantle Mariners defeated Victorian Tigers to take the gold medal in the Men.
Bronwen Knox was named the 2011 NWPL player of the season and was named in the 2011 NWPL All-Stars team.
Bronwen was also named in the Team of the Decade (2001 - 2010) along with Naomi McCarthy (nee Castle). Bronwen and Naomi received their awards at the 2011 AWPI Awards Dinner held last Friday night in Sydney. Congratulations girls!
The women's team of the decade were: Emma Knox (Goalie), Gemma Beadsworth, Bronwen Knox, Naomi McCarthy, Melissa Rippon, Bec Rippon and Kate Gynther.
