Report from Australian Under 20’s Championships - Adelaide, January 2012
The QLD Women’s team had a number of Breakers girls in it including:
Emily Benson, Olivia King (Both played for Australian Barbarians in Pan Pacs), Laura (Issy) Malcolm, Margaret (Maggie) Morrison and our new younger member, Tiana Anderson. Queensland played extremely well throughout the tournament finishing at the top of the table, however in the final they were unfortunately beaten 10 - 9 by NSW to win Silver. Well done girls on a great effort. Congratulations to Olivia King for being named MVP for the tournament.
The Men’s team went down to Victoria in the Bronze medal game 9-7. It was a tough game and a number of Breakers Men were in the team and included: Connor Arnold, James Arbon, Oliver Chambers, Stewart Greenbank and Tyler Sinclair.
The KFC Nuggets … back in 2012
The KFC Nuggets will commence on Saturday 11th February prior to the National League games at 5.45 pm. This is a great opportunity for our junior Breakers to play and then stay to watch our National League teams in action.
