After a slow first half the girls started to inject themselves into the game stopping the scoring from the opposition in the third quarter with some great defensive work. It was a super effort from all the girls as this was their first game together and they can now only improve as it all comes together for them. GO BREAKERS!!

Jack Lusic (Women) and Duncan Greenbank (Men) have been selected to coach the KFC QLD Breakers national league teams for 2010 NWPL season.

Two Junior Breakers teams will compete in National CLub U16 Championships in late September in Brisbane. Games will be played at the Valley Pool, All Hallows and Musgrave Pool.

Breakers players named as finalists at 2009 QWPI awards. Daniel Marsden also named as finalist for 2009 QWPI Coach of the year.

U23 Breakers win Bronze in Inaugural U23 tournament in Sydney. The team played very well to win 11-9 in extra time after a 9-all draw in regular time. Billy Miller netted 7 goals!

U23 Breakers to play for Bronze! The team lost to Drummoyne this afternoon and will now play Sydney Uni tomorrow morning for Bronze and prize pool of $2000.

Three Breakers women named in Aussie Stingers for first round of the Fina World League Asia-Oceania games to be held in Adelaide 22 - 24 May vs China, NZ & Japan. They are: Bronwen Knox, Sarah Mills and Sophie Smith.
