Junior Breakers Player Program

represent qld Breakers at National Club Championships
The KFC QLD Breakers club provides pathways for junior players to compete on the national stage in National Junior Club Water Polo Tournaments (14 Yrs, 16 Yrs, 18 Years). These tournaments are hosted by Australian Water Polo and are run yearly.
In 2012, the club entered two boys in the National 16Yrs Club Championships in October, a boys team in the 18Yrs National Club Championships in Canberra and a girls team and a composite boys team in the National 14Yrs Club Championships in Perth. We had success in Perth with the Breakers(Boys)14Yrs composite team winning the Bronze medal and the Boys 16Yrs Breakers Red team placing 4th in the 16Yrs National Championships in Melbourne. The club also had 4, 16Yr boys, selected in the Australian born 1996 squad from their performance at these championships.

KFC nugget cup
The KFC Qld Breakers club initiated a junior player program in 2003 to assist the development and growth of our junior players and to produce players to fill our future KFC QLD Breakers national league player rosters. In the last ten years, there have been more than 20 players, who have come through our junior nuggets and junior breakers representative pathways to represent the QLD Breakers in the NWPL.
Unfortunately, there will be no Nugget Cup this season.
