Two Breakers players win 2009 QWPI player awards

Anthony Martin

Anthony Martin was awarded the 2009 Senior Male player of the Year award last Friday night at 2009 QWPI Awards dinner. The award was based on his performance between April 1 2008 to June 30 2009. Over this time Anthony achieved the following:

Member of Australia’s Men’s 2008 Olympic team – Finished 8^th place
Appointed Australian captain and member of Men’s team for World League Preliminaries May 09
Member of Australia’s Men’s Team – Bronze medal at 2008 World League Super finals, Genoa, Italy
Member of Australia’s Olympic Men’s Squad

National playing level

Captain and member of the 2008 / 2009 KFC QLD Breakers Water Polo Team in National Water Polo League. Team finished won the Bronze medal in 2008 and 2009 NWPL seasons.
